it has big rooms. the location is in a stunning and great spot in the garden overlooking rutland water. the hotel provides an excellent service.

The hotel was placed in the remote location right on lake shore.

The room was pet-friendly, and brilliant, with an electric kettle, central heating and an iron I needed. The view was pleasant out to lake. Its location was brilliant, near shore, the restaurant, and conservatory or outside-location glorious. The staff was courteous, amazingly great, and responded promptly to requests.

The hotel has a marvellous setting with a lovely large garden. the staff is very friendly and provides excellent service. - the restaurant and conservatory overlook the beautiful lake.

Unfortunately a musty smell from the bathroom and at the shower head it looked as if mould had formed there.

We stayed for 2 nights. The first morning the breakfast was awful, badly cooked, scrambled egg looked like it had been on the floor. 2nd day the breakfast had improved enormously and was more than adequate.

My favourite property in Oakham. Fabulous base for discovering Oakham. - Positioned in the beautiful area with a lovely conservatory that had a beautiful view of the surroundings. - Close to restaurants and sights, as well as pubs and restaurants in nearby villages.

The Normanton Park hotel must boast the best location on Rutland Water, with terrific views and easy access to all parts of the lake and other attrections.

The evening meals were only average quality, with little choice and top prices. Lunches were super and good value!

Our modern and cozy double room made for a comfortable stay, and the breakfast spread was generous and satisfying.

The location is lovely, with views over Rutland Water, though possibly views came with the higher priced rooms? The hotel was quiet and that wa a key thing for us, others may prefer more atmosphere?

The interior is dated and the furniture is old fashioned. The standard of breakfast offered was poor and the service disappointing, a little bit to 'fawlty towers' for me!
